Position Overview
The Controller will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with accounting standards. This role involves managing the accounting team, preparing budgets, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and oversee budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to optimize cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee tax filings.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to internal controls and policies.
- Perform financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision making.
- Implement and maintain ERP systems to streamline accounting processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial expertise and support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques.
- Proficient in general ledger management and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Understanding of tax compliance and auditing practices.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in financial analysis.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software.
