Civil Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing construction projects while ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations. You will work collaboratively on various projects, focusing on site development, cost estimation, and the application of engineering principles to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Design and oversee construction projects from conception to completion in accordance with applicable building codes and regulations.
Conduct site assessments to evaluate project feasibility and environmental impact.
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and project schedules to ensure timely completion.
Utilize AutoCAD and other engineering software to create precise project designs and plans.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
Perform soil mechanics and geotechnical analysis to determine site suitability and design parameters.
Implement project management techniques to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainable practices in all engineering projects.
Conduct surveying and site evaluations to ensure accurate planning and execution of projects.
Manage contracts and negotiate with vendors and contractors for construction services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress.
Proficient in AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, fluid mechanics, and environmental engineering principles.
Experience in project management and construction management.
Familiarity with building codes and regulations relevant to Civil Engineering.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address engineering challenges.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
