Our family-owned business has over 40 years of experience in electrical, heating, air conditioning, and plumbing services. We generally operate within a 60-mile radius of our office in Lebanon County, PA. We undertake construction projects for various types of buildings, such as municipal, educational, religious, commercial, military, healthcare, and hospitality.
What You Will Be Doing
The Commercial HVAC Estimator calculates the cost of installing, replacing, or maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in commercial buildings. They will use various methods and tools to estimate the materials, labor, equipment, and permits needed for each project. They will also prepare proposals and bids for clients, negotiate with vendors and contractors, and communicate with project managers and engineers.
What You Need for this Position
- 4+ years experience estimating Commercial HVAC projects
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles, codes, and standards, and ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts
- Ability to estimate the cost of HVAC systems, sheet metal, and piping for various types of commercial buildings, such as offices, hotels, hospitals, etc.
- Proficiency in using computer software such as Estimation and MS Office
- Experience in negotiating with vendors and contractors, communicating with project managers and engineers, and following up on projects
- Ability to report to the office in Myerstown, PA as needed.
