Construction Superintendent

Position Overview
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the daily operations of construction sites
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other construction professionals
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality control
Prepare and maintain project schedules and budgets
Manage site preparation, grading, and utility adjustments
Ensure proper handling and installation of concrete and flatwork
Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients and project management

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
Strong understanding of civil construction processes
Experience with site preparation and grading techniques
Knowledge of utility adjustments and installations
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
Excellent leadership and organizational skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
