Position Overview
The Corporate Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and leading the accounting team to maintain accurate financial reporting. This role is pivotal in driving strategic financial planning and analysis to support the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall financial reporting process and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities to align with the organizations financial goals.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure tax compliance and manage relationships with external auditors and tax authorities.
- Prepare and present financial analysis and reports to executive management and the board.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
- Lead the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Develop strategies for cash flow management and optimize capital allocation.
- Contribute to strategic planning initiatives by providing financial insights and recommendations.
- Ensure timely regulatory reporting and compliance with financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Experience with accounting software and financial management systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in risk management and internal controls.
