We are looking for a Director of EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) to join our safety team. This position requires a strong understanding of safety standards, HVAC systems, and mechanical engineering. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, possess excellent problem solving and communication skills, and be highly organized. In this role, you will be responsible for:
" Ensuring that all safety procedures are followed in accordance with industry standards
" Planning and implementation of EHS policies and programs
" Safety on-boarding processes
" Risk assessments
" Preventative safety
" Process improvements
" Site inspections
" Accident/violation reporting and investigations
" Oversee workplace repair and installations
At least 5 years of experience in a Safety Director of Manager role, as well as a strong understanding of safety rules and regulations. Knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems, and excellent problem solving and communication skills are also necessary. Certified Trainer preferred but not required, completed OSHA30.
This role pays between $120-150k. We also offer bonuses, commissions, and other perks that may be applicable for this role.
