Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Entertainment Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience in entertainment law to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in representing creators, negotiating deals, filing trademarks, drafting contracts, and more, all within the vibrant entertainment landscape of Beverly Hills.
Key Responsibilities
Negotiate and draft a broad range of contracts and legal correspondence for the firm and its clients, primarily in the film, television, and digital/new media arenas.
Advise clients on legal matters related to entertainment transactions, intellectual property rights, and business formation.
Conduct legal research and provide strategic counsel to clients on complex entertainment law issues.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive legal support for clients across various entertainment sectors.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active membership in the California State Bar.
A minimum of 3 years of experience practicing entertainment law, with a strong foundation in scripted television and film deal-making.
Proven ability to negotiate and structure industry agreements effectively.
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
