Job Title: Estimator
Location: San Diego

Requirements: Military Ship Repair Estimating
We are a premier full-service military ship repair company, and we are currently in search of an Estimator.
The Estimator will be tasked with performing cradle to grave administration of assigned US government contracts.
The ideal Estimator will have experience estimating all disciplines within ship repair, but we are open to evaluating those with experience in only one or two disciplines.
- Analyzing RFP terms and conditions
- Preparing cost proposals and estimates to include labor and materials
- Negotiating contracts and subcontracts
- Developing cost strategies and responsive cost models
- Maintaining frequent communication with customer contracting officers, including ship repair prime contractors, ensuring all customer RFPs are accommodated
- Routinely monitoring for bid opportunities
