Insurance Defense Associate Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of insurance defense cases, providing legal representation and counsel to clients while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This position offers an opportunity to work on complex litigation matters and contribute to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in insurance defense cases in court and during mediations and arbitrations
Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda
Manage case files and maintain accurate records of case progress
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the litigation process
Analyze insurance coverage issues and provide counsel on bad faith claims
Assist in trial preparation and strategy development
Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting insurance defense cases

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
1-3 years of experience in insurance defense or civil litigation
Strong understanding of insurance coverage and bad faith laws
Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in legal research tools and software
