Molding Facilities Technician
Position Overview:
The Molding Facilities Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing injection molding machines, tooling, and other related equipment. The Technician will be tasked with setting up and troubleshooting molding machinery, as well as installing, programming, assembling, and repairing automated machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain injection molding machines and other related equipment
Set up and troubleshoot molding machines, tooling, and other related equipment
Install, program, assemble, and repair automated machinery
Use power tools to perform machine assembly and machine building
Read and understand electrical and hydraulic blueprints
Follow established maintenance procedures
Monitor production machinery and adjust as needed
Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical and electrical issues
Qualifications:
Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic blueprints
Knowledge of injection molding machines and tooling
Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues
Ability to set up and operate molding machinery
Ability to program and install automated machinery
Ability to use power tools to perform machine assembly and building
Experience with machine maintenance procedures
Ability to monitor production machinery and make adjustments as needed
Ability to work 9 hr shift M-F
