We are currently looking for a Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join our team!
Job Overview:
You will manage your own caseload handling all aspects of your claims and cases - from client intake, through pre-litigation, litigation, and trial.
Your team includes a dedicated litigation paralegal, a case manager in addition to other support staff resources for dictation, medical record acquisition, discovery, and lien reduction. The firm's model provides its attorneys with significant autonomy within the firm's structure. Within this structure, you will be responsible for decisions from case acceptance, prosecution, settlement, and you will partner with firm management to determine which cases should be tried to verdict to maximize the client's recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle all aspects of personal injury cases from intake to settlement or trial
Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including complaints, pleadings, motions, and briefs
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case
Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to achieve successful outcomes
Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
Work collaboratively with other attorneys on the legal team
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor degree
Admission to the California Bar
3+ years of experience with plaintiff side personal injury law
Significant participation in at least 3 jury trials is preferred
Strong knowledge of trial court procedures and litigation strategy
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage a high volume of cases and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented and able to conduct thorough legal research
