Full Service Law Firm Seeking Probate Paralegal in Palm Beach Gardens, FL

 

An established (20+ years) full services law firm in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking a Paralegal with at least 3 years of experience with in Wills and Trusts, Probate and Estate Settlements, and Tax Planning, to join their team. This family-owned firm values work-life balance, offering no billable hour requirements or overtime work.

 

Offer:

$70,000-$90,000 annual base salary, contingent on experience

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal

Strong knowledge of probate law and procedures

Proficiency in e-filing systems and document management

Experience with HotDocs (preferred) or other legal software

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Familiarity with trust administration and estate planning

 

Responsibilities:

Assisting attorneys in preparing and filing probate pleadings and documents

Managing and organizing case files, including court papers and documentation

Researching estate assets and liabilities, such as real estate deeds and tax returns

Preparing and submitting e-filing documents to the court

Administering trusts and wills, ensuring compliance with legal requirements

Docketing deadlines and managing calendars for probate-related tasks

Performing dictation and transcription of legal documents

Collaborating with clients, beneficiaries, and financial institutions to gather required information

Preparing and filing IRS forms related to estate tax returns

Maintaining accurate records of case activities and communications
