This is a full time/permanent position with a well established nationwide design/architecture firm.

Due to consistent growth, they are currently hiring for a Project Architect with experience on K-12 / Education projects. This person will be involved in the design and architecture of large / complex projects from schematics through construction.

What You Will Be Doing

Design and architecture of large / complex Pre K-12 projects from schematics through construction
Conceptualize building systems and oversee the documentation process from initial schematics to the construction administration phase
Act as the lead for the discipline team on large, intricate projects when assigned
Manage and guide team members within the discipline
Create and maintain project status reports
Perform and document essential code research for projects
Conduct material and product research necessary for project development.

What You Need for this Position

6+ Years of related architecture experience
Licensed Architect
LEED Accredited is preferred
Must have experience in DSA/K-12 projects
Knowledge of California Building Codes
Proficient in: Revit, Rhino and other softwares
Bachelors degree in Architecture
