We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Project Director to lead our civil projects, with a particular focus on DOT construction and wastewater treatment plants. As the Project Director for Civil Projects, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of large-scale civil infrastructure projects. Your expertise in DOT (Department of Transportation) construction and wastewater treatment plants will be crucial in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a key leadership role where you will manage multidisciplinary teams, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and drive the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead and manage multiple civil infrastructure projects, with a focus on DOT construction and wastewater treatment plants.
-Oversee all project phases, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
-Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
-Collaborate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.
-Manage project teams, including assigning tasks, setting goals, and monitoring performance.
-Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
-Mitigate project risks by identifying potential issues early and implementing effective solutions.
-Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
-Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
-Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices and innovative approaches to project management.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
-At least 10+ years of experience in civil construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale DOT construction and wastewater treatment plant projects.
-Strong understanding of DOT regulations, standards, and procedures.
-Extensive knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and related construction practices.
-Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams on projects valuing between $60-200M+.
-Exceptional project management skills, including proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
