Project Manager - Commercial Doors
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee our commercial door projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial estimation through to completion, ensuring quality standards and customer satisfaction are met at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage commercial door projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Prepare detailed project estimates and budgets using Comsense or Avaware software.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Develop project schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and specifications.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
- Mentor and lead project teams, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the commercial door industry.
- Strong knowledge of estimating and detailing processes, specifically with doors and trim.
- Proficiency in project management software, including Comsense and Avaware.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
