Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of industrial/ mission-critical projects in NC, SC, and VA. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead on-site construction activities, manage subcontractors and staff, resolve issues, and maintain open communication. Build a strong team and mentor members to foster growth and learning.
- Project Management: Oversee projects from planning to completion, improve margins while maintaining quality, manage equipment purchases and contracts, and forecast financial outcomes accurately.
- Safety and Quality Assurance: Enforce safety regulations, ensure compliance with standards, and inspect work to maintain high-quality results. Coordinate with stakeholders to address and resolve design or construction issues.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Develop and manage project schedules, organize site logistics, and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners for smooth execution.
- Reporting and Documentation: Track daily progress and key metrics, and provide regular updates on project status, risks, and challenges to leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction management
- Ability to travel to job sites as needed
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and project management platforms (ACC Build, Procore, PlanGrid, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of technical systems including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire suppression, and security systems is considered a plus.
- OSHA 30-hour, CPR, First Aid. LEED AP or PMP certification is a plus.
