Who you are:
Bachelors degree in engineering or related field required
5+ years of experience in a quality/engineering leadership role, preferably with an energy company or if not engineering/manufacturing
Experience standing up ISO9001 Quality System & obtaining certification.
Experience with Operations Technology (OT) systems like SCADA and Industrial Control system (ICS).
High degree of self-motivation and professionalism to deliver results.
Effective communication skills: ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Experience in strategic planning and execution.
Team-oriented; demonstrates a commitment to shared success above any personal accomplishment or recognition.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop collaborative relationships at all levels in the organization.
Demonstrated capability to make decisions and to gain cooperation from others.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, manage expectations and meet tight deadlines.
Six Sigma certification is an asset.
What you will be doing:
Process Development
Design and implement robust processes governing all aspects of project development, construction, engineering, and operation.
Ensure processes meet industry best practices and regulatory standards for consistency and reliability.
Software Platform Management
Evaluate, select, and manage software tools and platforms facilitating quality management, process management, KPI data collection, and reporting.
Ensure platforms are user-friendly, integrated, and support diverse project needs.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing and refining processes.
Gather feedback from project teams, analyze performance metrics, and identify areas for enhancement.
Streamline workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance overall project quality.
Training and Support
Provide training and resources to ensure team members are proficient in using software platforms and understand established processes.
Empower workforce adherence to processes, maintain quality standards, and leverage technology effectively.
Data-Driven Decision Making
Utilize data analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with processes.
Make informed decisions ensuring that quality management strategies are effective and aligned with business objectives.
Collaboration and Integration
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, and operations, to integrate quality processes into every stage of project execution.
Enhance communication and foster a unified approach to quality management.
Feedback Loop
Establish mechanisms for capturing insights and lessons learned from each project.
Refine processes and software platforms to adapt to changing industry demands and technological advancements.
