Salary: $160k-$190k/yr

Location: Carlsbad, CA (hybrid)

Required Skills: Real Estate transactions, leases, public contracting matters, construction procurement, disputes. This role is mostly transactional but will involve some litigation.

Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Real Estate Attorney to provide legal guidance and support for various real estate transactions and projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of transactional law and litigation support, and will play a crucial role in negotiating contracts, reviewing leases, and ensuring compliance with public contracting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice on real estate transactions including purchases, sales, leases, and financing
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to real estate matters
  • Assist clients with construction procurement and compliance with relevant laws
  • Support litigation efforts related to real estate disputes
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on real estate laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions
  • Stay updated on changes in real estate law and best practices

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in the State Bar of California
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on transactional work
  • Strong knowledge of litigation support in real estate matters
  • Experience with contract negotiations and public contracting
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently
