As the Industrial HSE Manager for the Western Region, you will be responsible for overseeing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs across multiple company locations in the western United States and Canada.
Your primary focus will be to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, while fostering a culture of safety and environmental stewardship. You will develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures, conduct regular site inspections, and provide training and support to site personnel to promote best practices in safety and environmental management.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with site managers, employees, and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential hazards, conduct risk assessments, and investigate incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports, preparing for and participating in audits, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes. Your ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships will be crucial in driving continuous improvement in HSE performance across all sites.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial safety and environmental management, with experience in multi-site operations.
A degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM.
You should be a proactive problem-solver with excellent organizational and leadership skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Frequent travel within the western region of the US and Canada will be required.
