Senior Bridge Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bridge Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading bridge design projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations, and contributing to the overall success of our transportation infrastructure initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and analysis of bridge projects from concept through completion.
Ensure all bridge designs meet relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
Collaborate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and compliance with engineering specifications.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project documentation for stakeholders and clients.
Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices and technical skills.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in bridge engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in bridge engineering and design.
Proficient in Microstation, Inroads, OpenRoads software.
Strong project management skills and experience overseeing multiple projects.
Knowledge of PennDOT and ODOT standards and regulations is a plus.
Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
