Position: Tax Senior - Estate and Trust Specialist

Job Summary: As a Tax Senior specializing in estate and trust planning, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive tax services to our clients. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, developing tax strategies, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Your expertise will help our clients navigate the intricacies of estate and trust taxation, ultimately contributing to their financial well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for estates, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial benefits for clients.
• Conduct thorough research on tax issues and provide well-informed recommendations.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals and provide tailored tax advice.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize tax strategies.
• Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; 
• CPA certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning, with a focus on estates and trusts.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
