Tax Staff

Position Overview
The Tax Staff will assist in the preparation and review of various tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This role is crucial in providing high-quality tax services to our clients while also supporting the growth and efficiency of our tax practice.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and file federal and state tax returns including 1120, 1120S, and 1040 forms.
Assist in the preparation of tax work papers and supporting documentation.
Review tax returns prepared by junior staff and provide constructive feedback.
Research and analyze tax issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
Stay current on tax legislation and changes in compliance requirements.
Collaborate with team members to streamline tax processes and utilize technology for efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
CPA certification or progress towards obtaining CPA is preferred.
Experience in public accounting with a focus on tax preparation.
Familiarity with tax software and SaaS applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
