Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Civil Litigation Attorney to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have significant experience handling civil litigation matters, including but not limited to contract disputes, personal injury, real estate litigation, and business torts.
Responsibilities:
-Represent clients in a variety of civil litigation matters.
-Manage cases from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation.
-Provide strategic legal advice to clients, effectively communicating complex legal issues.
-Collaborate with team members and clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
-Attend court hearings and trials as necessary.
Qualifications:
-5+ years in civil litigation (candidates with more experience will be considered for a senior role).
-Must be admitted to the Maryland Bar; additional bar admissions in D.C. and Virginia are a plus.
-Strong oral and written communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, ability to manage multiple cases, and sound judgment.
-Experience in a wide range of civil litigation matters and a desire to take on increasing responsibilities.
